How to create an account on dYdX exchange: A step-by-step guide

After creating a non-custodial wallet, you are ready to create a dYdX account. dYdX Exchange enables trading of perpetual contracts for a wide range of crypto assets with up to 20x leverage.

Go to dydx.exchange and click the trade button in the upper right hand corner. Now click the connect wallet button and select your wallet type. First time users will need to complete the onboarding process. Sign the requests to link your wallet and enable trading. From the preferences tab you can enter an optional username and set your preferences.

To deposit trading collateral click the deposit button at the bottom left of your screen. Enter the amount of the deposit, enable USDC, and confirm the deposit. This will incur one time gas fees. dYdX currently has a promotion to cover deposit gas fees.

You can also deposit trading collateral with a fiat on-ramp. To deposit with fiat, use the buy now link under the deposit with fiat heading on the deposit window. This method of deposit uses a third-part service and requires you to enter your email and personal information.
